Good-bye January!

I’m feeling good that we are moving away from January (and the coldness!) and on to February!  It means that we are getting closer and closer to spring, which I have to say, I can’t wait.

Best friend and I finally exchanged our Christmas gifts – I was excited to finally have time to sit and visit, shop and exchange.  I have taken some pictures of one of my gifts, which I just love!  Best friend always comes up with the best ideas!

My very first Yarn Bowl, made by TB Pots Stoneware Pottery!

I really love the colors!

As you can see, I am working on another Color-Tipped Scarf by Purl Soho!

Happy life, happy knitting,

Cold January!

I am freezing!  I knew that the weather from December would not last!  Living in the great northeast, we should expect the temperature to go down, down, down.  I think I would rather have some more snow than the low temperatures.  Even puppy is feeling the weather!

I’m knitting another scarf for Boho Chic Boutique at their request!  This is the second of it’s kind and that makes me very excited!  I know the colors are some of my favorites, great for either a male or female.  The color is called Ashes from Loops & Threads Charisma.  You have to check it out or just let me know if  you want one of these very warm, scarfs!

Happy life, happy knitting,

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2016!  January has come in and boy has it been cold out there!  Here in the great northeast, December was very different, like almost 70 degrees on Christmas!  So, we are not used to the normal winter weather that has finally hit us.  One good thing to remember is that we have about 3 months to go till, hopefully, mild weather again!

Had to show you my beautiful new Christmas Cactus plant that I received for the Holidays.  I just love it!

So, my sweet, sweet grandson is now 6 months old and with this freezing weather, I made him his first pair of mittens.  I found the pattern on Purlbee and think they came out great!
